“I like when a bartender gets to know you as a regular. We are never in a hurry, and enjoy a drink or two before we order dinner. Thanks Hank, another enjoyable evening. The food was good and the service was even better. Poppies has become our favorite local bar and restaurant. I’m a veteran and I enjoy a relaxing glass of wine, bourbon, good food, good conversation and good service!“

“Great atmosphere with plenty of spots to sit and sip. Beers and ciders were very tasty and the music made it a fun spot to relax. Only reason it's not a 5 start is the lack of lighting outside on this particular night (Saturday @ 9pm) made it feel like the place was closed or closing. Hard to believe it was dead there at that time but I drove past it initially thinking it wasnt open. We'll be back though! This is a neat spot for sure!“
