Place is really nice but I did walk past it at first not knowing the area. I did make a reservation which is the way to go since parking is limited and so is seating. The food was good and the pizza reminded me of being back in New York. Definitely a place to checkout.

Cypress Hall is a great place to go and have absolutely wonderful meal with friends, family, or business gathering. Food is always excellent and service is outstanding. You will probably need reservations to get in that's how good it is.

This is hands down the best restaurant in New Bern. If you haven’t been here, you are definitely missing out and I wish I would've discovered it sooner. It's obvious that everyone that works there works together to make sure you never need to ask for anything, and it’s clear they truly care about your experience from the moment you walk in the door until the moment you leave. Our server (I wish I could remember her name) was amazing and extremely knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. We also met one of the managers during our visit, and she was just as amazing as the rest of the staff. Even before speaking with her you could see how much she supports everyone that works there. Over all, incredible food that you wouldn't think you could get in a small town, amazing service, and an experience I'd recommend to anyone. I will absolutely be back.

Great service. Cool atmosphere, music not too loud. But a bit overpriced on some items. We tried the Duck pizza. It was odd but good at the same time. Had crunchy mustard seeds piled on it it some spots which wasn't pleasant and arugula just thrown on top which really just seemed to add color and nothing more. The whole clove garlic would've been better minced in my opinion. Overall it was a cool pizza to try, but I'd probably not order it again. I'd go for the Margherita or pepperoni.

I'm not from New Bern. First time at this restaurant. Terrific ambiance. Gotta love the brick wall. Place was busy, but after a short wait, they seated out party of 13. Excellent service. Waitress kept checking on us a few times. Described items perfectly. Cooks were extremely busy. Food looked delicious coming out. Expeditor did an awesome job making sure each plate was garnished beautifully. I highly recommend this incredible restaurant!
We had dinner here, was very busy but got a high top right away! (Lucked out a bit I think!). Food was exceptional. Drinks exceptional. Sea foam margaritas and very well balanced dirty martinis! Had no idea this place existed but glad we stumbled onto it!

Perfect Food. We had a Caprese and Oysters for Starters, then Steak, Pizza Margherita and Burgers. Everything was on point. The Pizza was the Best in 6 Weeks in the US - comparing with Italy normally. Only negative Point is, we didn‘t like too much the Fries. Too dark and too much cheese on it - but a question of taste I guess :).

I hope the menu doesn't change drastically before we get to New Bern again because my wife and I can't get enough of their hanger steak and fried oysters. In fact the former ranks as one of the most memorable restaurant meals I've had in the past 20 years--I raved about it to our server.
