The food was excellent. The tuna was perfectly seared with zero fishy taste, the vegetable based on the tuna was a little undercooked. The service was top notch, friendly and attentive. The vibe in the restaurant is very nice with a little energy but not distracting from a quiet conversation. Solid A.

Such a beautiful restaurant and our waitress was absolutely precious. However, I find it completely unbelievable that a restaurant this nice is not prepared for things a serious as a serious seafood allergy. They cook all of their fried food in the same oil, therefore creating a very dangerous situation of cross contamination for those of us with these concerns. Breaks my heart, we were really looking forward to trying them out. Just a suggestion, but I can't be the only person dealing with these concerns. Please prepare better so that all of us are able to enjoy your restaurant.

A very pleasant surprise in so many ways. Although I didn’t make the reservation and didn’t realize who the chef/owner was until I did a little research, but my good friend, Ashley Moser. I was very excited because 247 Craven was one of my favorite restaurants in North Carolina. I hadn’t been to New Bern in six or seven years, and I was so pleased to see that he had started another restaurant. The whole experience was exceptional! The vibe was incredible, it was energetic and lively, the food was off the charts, and our server, Hannah, was totally attentive, engaging, and professional. I’d brought a bottle of 2010 Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon reserve which Hannah adeptly decanted for us. It was a match made in heaven for my brisket burger, which was one of the best I’ve ever had! The softshell crabs were also some of the best we have ever had. We ordered several for the table. All in all a truly wonderful and memorable experience. We are very surprised and pleased with the pricing with the whole menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MacKenzie was the most attentive server I have had in over a decade. The food was equally impressive and deserves accolades as well. As a fellow industry worker, it was refreshing to know someone has stuff together.

Took 20 minutes for host to find a non broken chair. Served dirty dish which was replaced. Server busy chatting with another table managed to slam a glass on our table

I had higher expectations for this place. We had reservations last night but I decided to wait to write this because I’m in the service industry and I understand we all have rough days so I’ll just leave it at that. The drinks were quick and immaculate, even tho they were missing a syrup for the cocktail we wanted the staff there seemed on point I honestly would just sit there if I were to come back. I probably won’t be able to convince my husband to go back though, which is a bummer because it checks a lot of date night boxes!

If you enjoy waiting an eternity for someone to acknowledge your existence, this is the place for you! The ambiance? Imagine a mix of sadness and regret, with a hint of mystery—because you’ll spend the whole night wondering if your food will ever arrive. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Unless, of course, I wanted them to suffer.
