I ordered Ruben Sandwich. Corn beef was tasty, but too much. Not enough cheese. Bread was soaked with grease with whatever they use to fry. Bread all mashed down. Will eat here again, but not Rueben sandwich. Overpriced too, compared to other menu items. Service was slow.
Holy cow, this is one of the best almond croissants that I’ve had…and I’ve had a lot. Yesterday’s apple cruffin was delightful as well, and of course the plethora of cookies that we have tried.
I would take a photo to add to my review but I already ate said croissant. 10/10 would recommend!
Famous is our favorite place to eat in New Bern. The food is always delicious and the service is top notch. Today, Kimberly was our server and took excellent care of Becky and me. She was prompt, considerate, friendly and just a delightful addition to our time spent at Famous! You can’t beat Famous for food and customer care.
