We moved to New Bern about 4 years ago from Maryland. We've not found proper streamed crabs until today, and we are very excited! My parents were down and we were celebrating being together and some accomplishments for our kids. So we got a couple dozen Maryland style steamed crabs to enjoy as a family. While visiting New Bern and walking around this wonderful city, it was time for lunch. I ordered the four piece box with the catfish. It was delicious. Didn't see if there was a sampler on the menu, but everything looked delicious.
Give Front Street a try when in town.

Love the neighborly atmosphere among the diners! Truly a great thing to see. Portions are ginormous! Unfortunately my grouper bites were overcooked which is easy to do. Things happen, but I will be back to try other things on the menu!
