Love this place. We go for the soup and sashimi my girlfriend can eat (she can't eat rice). I used to go for the udon noodles, but ever since i found it i have been getting their katsu bento boxes for the variety. You get the main dish, dumplings, fried rice, a soup or salad and a roll! I always get a spicy salmon roll om the side and we usually get edamame (so much better hot!). Love the whole experience! For both me and my girlfriend with the apps, a la carts and entres we usually spend about $60. They have cheaper lunch specials, but you get smaller portions. Highly recommend!

We used to be very regular customers here due to the low prices and great food! Lately anytime we order to-go hibachi we are left a little disappointed. My boyfriend asks for just teriyaki chicken and white rice, no veggies, and almost every time he still gets veggies. The chicken will also literally be swimming in the juices in the bowl. It looked more like a soup. It’s just a little disappointing having to either deal or drive back across the bridge. I will say they have always been more than happy to fix any issues for us! Great service overall. I will continue to come for the sushi especially!!

My lovely wife and I have enjoyed the food & casual atmosphere at Ginza on 2 occasions. The food is very good. The service is good, as well. You'll need to remember to byob if you want alcohol. We took a bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. Our young waitress was courteous, helpful, kind. We'll definitely be back to Ginza Japan.

I was berated by the waitresses boyfriend due to the fact I didn’t leave a tip for subpar service. No smile, rushed service, and no enthusiasm shouldn’t be tipped. The food was great so if I could’ve tipped and knew it was going to the chef 100% would have. Commenting on how much someone leaves you is unprofessional work. We only received a refill on drinks because I moved the glass to the edge of the table. She showed enthusiasm and character skipping around talking to her coworkers, loud with her interactions with them yet wanted me to tip for her bringing me hot food. At that point all carry out meals should be forced to tip. She even went out of her way to talk to her boyfriend while he was in the lobby, carrying out a long chat as we sat and ate but wanted to deny knowing him when i confronted her about commenting to another person about how no tip was left. I told her if she wanted a tip that bad I’d happily give her one but she declined saying i didn’t tip for a reason. If she was that pressed for a tip she should’ve just handed back the receipt instead of commenting to someone about no tip. I don’t understand the point of the interaction if she didn’t want the tip to begin with.

Only go for the sushi! My first time getting hibachi here. I asked for hibachi chicken, no rice extra veggies and it was basically the same amount you get but with no rice, and no seasoning!! I will just stick with the sushi from here on out.

Absolutely loved the food! We just moved to town and were looking for a good spot. Cost friendly, great service, good practice, minimal wait time for ordering and food. I always recommend bar seating. Many different options for ordering as well. Highly recommend. This is our new go-to spot.
