Wow great food. I had the mussels appetizer as a meal. Good serving of mussels with a fabulous tomato gravy. Partner had the La Casita salad. Very large. She took half home. The home made Italian dressing was excellent. We had a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. Very good and took the remainder home. The Lemoncello I cake was yummo. Caitlin the server was attentive and efficient. The $$$ was very reasonable.

My wife and I grew up with REAL Italian food, with Italian being spoken in the kitchen. This restaurant offers REAL, great Italian food. Thank you for making my wife’s birthday very special.

A friend and I ate dinner at La Casetta. I thought it was delicious. She barely touched her entree. The staff noticed and inquired. She explained that she had forgotten to state that her body did not tolerate fresh garlic and the entree was heavily seasoned with that. They brought the chef who offered to totally remake the entree for her with a lemon butter seasoning. She declined. He was truly distressed and wanted her to leave fully satisfied with her experience so they discussed how she should order there in the future. I thought the food was delightful, the portions large and the service staff was very attentive. The chef's attention to the situation truly impressed me, more than anything else. He wants satisfied clients.

Wow! Excellent service and meal at La Casetta New Bern last night for my bday. We enjoyed cocktails including a Cranberry sangria, red sauce homemade pasta with meatballs, special mushroom ravioli, crab bisque and crab bruschetta topped off with limoncello cake. Wowza. Our waitress was Melinda and she was so attentive and knowledgeable. It’s my favorite restaurant. Our bill was way lower than expected too for 3 people. Definitely recommend reservations, they fill up fast. 💕💕

As soon as I walked in it was an automatic greeting. I normally don’t leave good reviews however, I had a wonderful experience tonight. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was nice however the music was a little loud and could have been turned down a little. Overall, the bread was toasted to the perfect temperature, soft on the inside yet crunch on the out. The noodles with the Linguine & Shrimp were cooked to perfection and one could tell they were freshly made. The service again was phenomenal, I was greeted immediately upon walking into the door and within 5 minutes my waitress came to take my order. Even though she had other tables she made sure to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of even though I was by myself. I leave 4 out of 5 stars due to the minor issues however it would be more like a 4.8 out of 5. I will most definitely be coming back and looking forward to the same great experience I had tonight.
Parking: The parking lot is connected to multiple other stores, this makes it accessible and convenient to find easy parking nearby.
Kid-friendliness: A few tables away from me there was a couple and their little girl, the waitress was very kind and patient towards her which can sometimes take a lot out of someone.

Great wine selection, food is so good and prices are very reasonable for the quality imo. Service was great, our server was so sweet & attentive and other servers also checked in on us when they were nearby. I asked to purchase one of their smaller wine glasses bc my grandma liked it and the owner came over and gave it to us and chatted for a few mins and was very friendly. Will definitely be back!

I’ll keep this as short as possible. The food was really good, then i found two things in the food. One is a piece of plastic that was in my chicken parm and the other seems like a long fiber of some type that was in the pizza..
