Wow! Excellent service and meal at La Casetta New Bern last night for my bday. We enjoyed cocktails including a Cranberry sangria, red sauce homemade pasta with meatballs, special mushroom ravioli, crab bisque and crab bruschetta topped off with limoncello cake. Wowza. Our waitress was Melinda and she was so attentive and knowledgeable. It’s my favorite restaurant. Our bill was way lower than expected too for 3 people. Definitely recommend reservations, they fill up fast. 💕💕

As soon as I walked in it was an automatic greeting. I normally don’t leave good reviews however, I had a wonderful experience tonight. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was nice however the music was a little loud and could have been turned down a little. Overall, the bread was toasted to the perfect temperature, soft on the inside yet crunch on the out. Great wine selection, food is so good and prices are very reasonable for the quality imo. Service was great, our server was so sweet & attentive and other servers also checked in on us when they were nearby. I asked to purchase one of their smaller wine glasses bc my grandma liked it and the owner came over and gave it to us and chatted for a few mins and was very friendly. Will definitely be back!
