My favorite restaurant in New Bern and the only place that I've found that can do Alle Vongole any justice (it's delicious!!)
I can't help but feel like family coming in and am so sad to hear it's ending in December :(
I've come here for years and can't find a local Italian restaurant that comes close to the quality here.
I forgot to get a photo of the ice cream, but it was beautifully served and delicious

Spumoni was delicious.

Had a great dinner for four at La Rosa’s tonight (Zuppa di pesce) and three other dishes. All of which were outstanding. It’s a small restaurant so make reservations. Your table will be set and waiting for you. The key here is that the food is authentic Italian and New York quality. The sauce was delicious and the portions generous. Hurry and go because the owner is retiring in December. Oh, and they don’t have pizza. Just great dishes and good wine.

Very good food. Service was nice and the staff are friendly. Shrimp Alfredo and the Canoli are a must! I am sad to hear that this restaurant is closing in December if they do not find new ownership. I hope a good buyer comes along and keeps the food quality consistent and retains the staff.

When we come to visit my parents in New Bern, this is always our first dinner out. The food is incredible and the atmosphere delightful! The owner is so nice!

This was our first LaRosa’s experience and we probably won’t return. We waited 30 minutes for our drink order to be taken and an hour before our warm, wilted salad arrived. Our food finally was served after 90 minutes and although it was good, it wasn’t as good as I heard people say. This was on a slow Tuesday evening.
The place was clean but void of all ambience. The chairs were uncomfortable especially since we were sitting for so long.

Came here for a date night . We had a nice time. Service and staff was great. The food was delicious. Just wish the portions were a bit bigger. Otherwise nice time.
