Peaking Garden has always had the BEST chinese wings in town But they closed for close to 2 months from July-September and when I found out they were open again I was excited Unfortunately they have new owners/cooks and have changed the chicken wing & egg roll recipe. It taste NOTHING like it used to. Doesn't even look the same. I've been eating here for over a decade but today will be the last time I go there. It was not good at all. So sad. Their egg rolls were ? I'll be going to Sumo bowl from now on.

Found this place shortly after moving into the Reserve. It’s pretty solid fast Chinese food! Some dishes have too much slurry (moo goo gai pan) but the Mongolian chicken is gas! Chicken lo mein is tasty too. I wish they would add tofu as a protein option!!! Don’t sleep on the boneless pork rib appetizer, they are straight fire.

Smaller lunch. The food is good but, much smaller portions!
This is my first time coming here and I got the beef lo mein with shrimp fried rice and it is really good. Everything is fresh and served hot.
Vegetarian options: You can get a plate with no meat. Just steamed vegetables and rice/noodles or neither.

My brother took me here on a guys night and I couldn't believe my taste buds!!! Can't believe my brother was holding out on me. Ordered the house fried rice and dumplings to go. It is probably the best take out in New Bern! And...reasonably priced. Way to go bro!!!
