Just had a great lunch! The Unicorn fish was delicious and the service was great. The menu is diverse and they have a full bar. We sat at a table with lovely views of the Neuse River. I would absolutely recommend it.
Persimmons Waterfront Restaurant is the quintessential New Bern dining experience, perfectly blending a stunning location with seriously impressive New American cuisine. The atmosphere alone is worth the visit; nestled right on the Neuse River, the panoramic views are absolutely fantastic, making it an ideal spot to relax and take in the Inner Banks scenery.

Great food here. Our party of 6 ate there the day after Christmas and Morgan, our server, took great care of all of us. Nobody in our party was disappointed with their meal, service, or atmosphere.
