We traveled once to a boutique hotel in San Francisco that had a wine happy hour with wines from smaller wineries that we never heard of. Well, Savi's Wine in New Bern is that type of wine shop. If you like the wines that are in your local grocery store, than this place isn't for you. If you like boutique wineries then come visit Cami and her staff. Always a great selection and they help you with not only your taste, but help you shop within your budget.

Since moving back to New Bern, we've come to love Savi's and shop here often. Ms. Cammie and Mr. John are so knowledgeable about all wines, are warm and friendly and go above and beyond to please their customers. Recently, I wanted a particular bottle of wine that's been out of stock most everywhere for a friend... Ms. Cammie was able to find the exact bottle I wanted and had it in store, wrapped and ready for curbside pickup in two days flat. Her communication through the entire process was impeccable and willingness to help me with my request was unparalleled. The prices at Savi's are beyond reasonable AND if you join their wine club they come at a great discount. They also have a wine tasting event once a month. Such a charming place and phenomenal addition to our downtown area. We love Savi's!
Came here looking for a port wine. They had three different kinds, and the gentleman working there had a lot of knowledge and input as to which may fit my preferences. He even gift-wrapped the bottle after I had mentioned briefly that it was for a friend. Great service, great ambiance.
