After having a roach in my sandwich in 2022, and the manager Max blamed it on possibly riding with my windows down and then said bugs get in the lettuce all the time no big deal. I decided to take a shot at my luck and 3years later go back. I order in the drive thru, get to the window swipe my card and he tell me that it didn’t go through is my card locked. I say no and proceed to check my bank account. My card was not locked and the transaction is on my bank statement so I tell them that I will not be swiping again because it went through according to my bank statements. He proceeds to tell me that it’s just pending but it didn’t authorize on his side so he can’t give me my food. The owner then deletes the order and to remind you I never got a receipt when I initially paid. He deletes the order with no trace of my order or transaction except it being taken out of my account. The owner Max and his employees patronized me and laughed at my frustration and on multiple occasions slammed the window while I was speaking and locked it as well. Go there if you will. The same thing happened to another customer while standing in the store and they refused to take responsibility of the situation even though he continued to say it’s his systems fault.

First time here. I got a Greek salad, was very fresh and tasty. Hubby got pastrami sandwich. Both were yummy! Will definitely go again.

11/5 at 5:51 pm. Ordered drive thru. Sat in the car waiting. No one in the restuarant, no one behind me in the drive thru. Saw my sandwich sitting on the cutting board thru the window. After 10 minutes and no action from the employees I drove to the front door. I went in the deli and asked the two gentlemen working what they were doing? They realized I was the guy that 18 minutes earlier was sitting at the drive thru. I told them to give me my money back! KEEP the sandwich because its cold and I have no idea where your hands have been the past 20 minutes. I then told them to start looking for a new job in the morning because the deli is empty, no one is at the drive thru and your the reason why. One gentleman reran my credit card but didn't know if it would refund me or not because he'd never done it before. They said they were short staffed and I asked why they weren't on the phone with a manager or the owner? I left hungry and very disappointed at the deli, staff, management and especially the OWNER! Good luck with your futures.

Schlotzsky's has excellent salads, pizza 🍕 & a variety, of very tasty sandwiches. Certainly, the areas are kept clean & well kept, with a fantastic Staff! My friends visit them soon....

Ordered Apple Harvest Chicken salad. Got home and it had three tiny pieces of apple, no pecans as expected, a tablespoon of chicken. Waited in line a long time. Very disappointed!

We came all the way from Norfolk, Va since our 2 locations shut down years ago and new bern was our closest location . I’ve missed their food so much and it didn’t disappoint ! Our sandwiches and soups were hot and fresh and the customer service was great! The bathrooms were very clean as well as the inside . All supplies for dine in customers were stocked and the dining area was clean. We’ll be coming back soon ! Thanks Schlotzsky’s ❤️

First time trying this place. Asked for the sandwich without mustard. It had mustard. The girl answer was the order didn't say no mustard. Really. For a sandwich shop all they said they had was sourdough and japenno bread. Place was empty at 4:36 yet several table were dirty. Recommend avoiding this place.

So disappointed. And from one of my favorite establishments. Guess I’ll have to start going to a different location. We showed up just a little bit before 5 and was waiting to be served in the drive thru. We saw people inside, but no one was acknowledging us after a couple minutes of waiting. We decided to go inside since no one was saying anything, but then we saw from the window that it closed at 5. It wasn’t 5 at this point. Even if they were about to close and didn’t want to serve us, they should’ve said something over the drive thru speaker. And looking at google maps, it says open till 7. If you’re craving a sandwich, I suggest Jersey mikes. That’s where we ended up and they were great. Coming from a background of working at Chickfila, this type of service is absolutely ridiculous. We were serving folks up to the very last minute, even those four milkshake orders.

Drove an away to get here for the store to he closed. When we called she said oh sorry we close at 5. We showed up at 455p. They had already locked the doors and didnt answer the drive through. Yall need to fix your online hours and close at the time yall say your supposed to close at..
