Been here before so though we would take another couple. Got there at 1115. Waited for a table. The hostess/server told us they closed at noon and we're not seating anyone. And they had empty tables. So I guess they wanted all customers gone by noon. Hot Date? Hummmm. Their facebook page show them closing at 1. Know when I'm not wanted. Went to Waffle House. Great meal. Had a short wait but they seated and served us.

Breakfast happiness on first visit to Sea Glass. Between the wife and I we aced a variety of choices, all on the favorable side, In descending order: hashbrowns w fried onions - crunchy/moist/not greasy, eggs - perfectly cooked to order, hollandaise - fresh and light lemonish, biscuits - good enough, sausage gravy - creamy but shy of sausage/flavor. The coffee bar (3 choices in insulated carafes) was a big plus as the 'breakfast blend' was strongly flavored without the dark roast burnt edge. All in all we enjoyed our breakfasts and were quite sated by the ample plates. Will be back!

This is basically a self-service restaurant...get your own menu...get your own beverage...get your own utensils...Sit where told...don't linger ... you might be unpolitely asked to leave during your second cup of cold coffee. Had the same experience three years ago and swore I'd never go back. Definitely won't return.

When I first moved here, this place was a lifesaver. It was close, great food, service was stellar. It diminished slightly over the years but after my last visit with NO service, ignored treatment I am so disappointed. I went from enthusiastic recommendations to the complete opposite now.

My son wanted to try someplace new. This worked for us for brunch. Lots of options/mix match combinations to satisfy everyone. Around the table we tried French Toast, Hashbrowns, Eggs, Biscuits. Food was good, warm and server Rachel was attentive.

I love this place and I love the people who work there. I love that you can get a side of hollandaise cause I put that shit on everything. Also Sea Glass has a special place in my heart since after the last bad hurricane that hit New Bern. Sea Glass set up tables full of free food to all of our community while we still had no power. This is a gem in NB in my opinion.

I am a HUGE fan of eggs Benedict and this restaurant did not disappoint! I ordered the veggie Benedict and it was so fresh and amazing! Very large portions and great quality for the money. The side of cheesy grits was massive and I sadly didn't have a lot of room in my stomach to eat more...
I'll be back again, for sure!

Generous servings of good fresh food. The sausage gravy is a bit bland but everything else is excellent. The burrito was declared the best breakfast burrito my husband has ever had. Waffle was good. Hash browns are fresh and can come with tasty extras. The big breakfast is really big. Service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is in a strip mall away from downtown. Not fancy but very good. It has a nice comfortable local vibe.

Just incredible really great I’m an old guy and a vegetarian so I always have with my wife the vegetarian omelette. It’s got tons of great vegetables like spinach in it and tomatoes and you get hashbrowns too for nine bucks in this horrible era of Joe Biden and everything being so expensive it’s a really great deal.

You walk in, and you're greeted. Find a seat, and you are on your way. They have a coffee station, self-serve. Eclectic cups. I really liked the feel of the place. Food came out as requested. It was good food. I would go back again, and again.

The food was delicious and very customizable. All you have to do is ask, and they can pretty much do.With whatever they have on the menu. I have no picture because what I asked for was a delicious monstrosity I customized.

You never know when they are closing. Two signs in the door and it’s all something different than the hours online.

If you’re looking for a good, local, hidden gem, hole-in-the-wall restaurant with made from scratch cooking, this place will more than satisfy you with very generous portions and tasty meals. It’s a local secret with good prices and it’s not too fancy so you can easily just stop in anytime and feel comfortably at home.
