ever since this new manager took over this store the quality of service and food has fallen very short. they always run out of bread or fixings for the sandwich. The employees are always in the back room leaving customers at the counter for 10 minutes or better before they come up and take orders. Very poor management

I've been to this Subway 3 times and had major problems every time. This last time was absurd. My wife ordered a Subway Club salad online. I go to pick it up and it is a sub. The persons working there claim there's no such salad. I had to prove it by showing it to them online. So he calls the owner/head manager and they tell them that they do sell the salad. So, my wife texts specific instructions as to what she wants. At the beginning it states spinach, no lettuce. I go out of my way to tell the guy at least twice that she wants spinach. Guess what? I get home and find no spinach, no lettuce. So the "salad" is just meat and toppings?!?! I call back up and complain and ask that the manager call me back.....two days went by and no call to try to make things right or apologize. I was a fool to have allowed my wife into talking me in to going after the first two bad experiences, but I am 100% certain I will never go back.

I went to subway in Jamescity last week and my experiences was a mixture. The first girl who tried to take my order was extremely rude and gave off the feeling she was miserable to be there. She was a white lady. Then the second girl with braids who finished taking my order was so sweet and friendly and then while I sat there and ate I seen the line building up and the girl with the braids did everything by herself and was the only one up front. I get everyone has bad days but at no point should a customer ever feel like they’re a bother at an establishment. The girl with braids definitely deserve recognition for excellent customer service. If it wasn’t for her I probably would come back to subway in jamescity.

Went in with a corporate coupon and was told I can only choose a few select subs. I was informed that their cost went up so coupons don't work like they used to...... absolutely horrible service and not a place you want to waste your money!!

The young lady and young man that were in there working on 7/30/2024 at 1:30 pm. They were both very nice! Our food was very very good! That was the best sub from Subway that I've had in a long time!!

Ordered a ft long meatball sub through Uber and they sent a 6" but charged me for a ft long. Couldn't even call to complain because their voice mail doesn't work.

I frequently post reviews, and rarely do I leave a negative one. However, our recent experience with Subway was disappointing and warrants a warning to others. We ordered takeout for our son's sleepover, but the food was unfortunately inedible. While we should have checked our order before leaving the store, it's unacceptable for a food establishment to serve such poorly prepared meals. Specifically, my toddler's veggie sub was overpowered by an excessive amount of pepper, making it unpalatable. I couldn't even eat one bite, let alone my 3 year old. My husband's meatball sub was similarly compromised by an overwhelming amount of jalapeños, which he had to remove by the handful. Two handfuls! It must have been an entire jar of jalapeños. What a waste of food and money for their establishment - this employee needs some serious training. Additionally, my veggie sub was excessively oily, soaking through multiple layers of paper and leaving a puddle of oil on my table. Our son's sub was overwhelmed by a ridiculous amount of mayonnaise, rendering it soggy and unappetizing. We ultimately discarded most of our food and had to resort to cereal for dinner. To avoid a similar experience, I strongly advise checking your orders carefully before leaving the store if you choose to dine here.

Haven't been there in awhile.
owner does not keep the product fully stocked to the point the employees don't have the basic essentials to provide what the customers want.didn't have turkey, didn't have provolone, didn't even have mayonnaise, one of the most requested condiments on a sub. bout as bad as the havelock location.employees were just fine and did what they had to.
