I discovered The Garage thanks to an app that points out places where RVers can stay overnight. So I arrived in the early evening, spent a few hours with a beer or two on their free wifi and then moved the Sprinter van around to the side. It was a quiet night. The Garage is, yes, a former repair shop complete with rolling doors that were open on this pleasant evening. It was not at all busy inside so I was able to drink a delicious local beer with my laptop. And since I'm not driving, I had a second one. Great place to stop and get a beer, cocktail or jug of delicious quite reasonably priced Moonshine. The flavored Moonshine is so mellow. The uncut moonshine is great also but you will definitely know that you are drinking potent shine! Travis the bartender is quite the mixologist with a smoked Manhatten. He's a very friendly guy with a ton of local knowledge! Stop in and check it out!!

First of all you have to taste the Shine! They have many flavors and the ones I sampled were pretty good and the drinks mixed with them were even better! They do have flights, but only with the beer selection for obvious reasons. Tonight there was a DJ and he played a nice selection of music that catered to everyone. And lastly I stayed the night in an RV because they are hosts with Harvest Host. Their lot can hold 2-3 rigs depending on their size. The staff was super friendly and am going to mirror what another reviewer wrote, the crowd was like being around family.

Fabulous bar! The moonshine is made in house, and is outstanding. They also have a wonderful, rotating assortment of local beers, as well as wine and well drinks. The staff is super friendly, and the patrons are like family!
