This was my first time ever trying Zaxby's and I had only heard good things so expectations were high. I just ordered a chicken strips plate and the chicken strips were very fatty and had a lot of gristle. They were not good at all. But when I lifted my last chicken there was a massive dead fly sitting right underneath it. Absolutely horrific and the thought of it made me literally vomit when I left. Will NEVER be going to another Zaxby's again.

I want to extent my gratitude to the management team at this location. They took my review seriously. My husband and I went back today to try again. The manager, Jaime, was pleasant, friendly and professional. We ordered the exact same thing again. The 5 finger plate, fries and coleslaw with Zax Sauce and a 5 finger sauced plate with double fries. The food overall was much better. The chicken was not dried out or overcooked. It was moist and had good flavor. The fries were fresh, hot and seasoned well. My husband's plate was also better but he did say 2 of the 5 fingers were still overcooked. But, overall a much better experience. Thank you again Jaime for addressing my previous Google review.

Slowest possible drive through in all of New Bern. Dont expect to be able to get through the line (with like three cars) and get your food within even 20 min. The foods decent once you get it but be sure to take off the entire day to get it!

The food was fresh and hot, but it didn't taste good. Fries are waaay over seasoned and the chicken had no flavor at all. The sauce is runny and makes a mess. I would go back if the food was seasoned properly but I think I will just stick with chic fil A.

I sat in line for 25 minutes, no exaggeration, I timed it, and still left with nothing. 4 cars were still ahead of me and I never made it to the speaker. No reason a drive thru should take that long.

The place was not busy, but when i asked for the dipping sauce that was left off our platter, the cashier acted like we asked her to perform a miracle! She was so aggressive, that i was afraid to go back and ask for a fork! If she is the type of workers they have, then it is no wonder they weren’t busy. No customer service at all. I should have gone to Royal Farms

I have to say this is a pretty good place. Love the drive through set up. I do not live here full time, so I am comparing it to others, and I cannot say anything negative, and I do not mind eating here. Very clean and friendly staff. Good place if you want Zaxby Food. I usually come in 2 times during my visits.

Ordered just a southwest salad she repeated the order while i was at the pickup window and STILL got it wrong. Received boneless wings and fries. Hope someone likes salad. My fault i guess since i didnt check before i drove off. Disappointed because usually never a problem with food or staff.
