I was surprised that it wasn't busy on a Saturday morning so we were really surprised our group of six had to squeeze into a table when the whole time the spare room was empty. The food was fabulous. Service was iffy. New young man needed some assistance but was NEW. I guess paying was difficult and strange with too many in the till. I will go back cause the food was great but will be leary of service.
We came here after a camping trip in the roan mountains before heading home. This place has so much potential, but it fell short in service and atmosphere. Half of the coffee shop was extremely warm, and the other half was extremely cold. There was no comfortable middle. The food took almost an hour to come out, and when our food did come out, the sweet little old lady bringing us our meal kept giving it to the wrong table. She did that for every one of our plates. 4 stars because management needs to step in and get the wait staff some help. My meal was great. Kayla our server was attentive, but swamped because the wait staff were bussing their own tables and having to sit their own tables. There were more apologies for the wait then I’ve ever heard and it is because the front of the house was short staffed. A greeter who could sit, bus and set a table would help this business beyond belief. I would actually expect an owner on a holiday...
