Do yourself a favor and skip this place if you want Pho. Go to Cam Ranh Bay down the street. This was terrible. Terrible flavor and pickled jalapeños instead of fresh, Sriracha sauce instead of chili. My husband's Thai Basil was loaded with curry. When the waitress asked how our food was and we expressed that we didn't care for either dish, she merely offered us a to go box. We asked to have at least the Pho removed. She had the owner come out. I expressed I didn't care for the dish. She replied with, "Well I already made it". She didn't offer any other dish or discount. I asked why they asked us how the food was since clearly it doesn't matter. You are getting it and paying for it like it or not and you are paying an extra charge if you want to use a card. $60 for a lunch we left on the table. Bad food, worse service, and dirty bathrooms. There are much better options in Banner Elk. Skip this one.

Don't be fooled by the outside and location. I'm writing this while sitting in the parking lot after just having lunch with our entire family. Our 2nd time here in the last 10 days. Food, Staff, Atmosphere, Cleanliness all excellent!

Beware hidden fees! We had lunch where the dishes we ordered, a seafood Udon soup, and crispy fish, were already quite high for lunch, $24 and $22, respectively. What we didn’t expect was the double charge for hot tea that we shared (one tea bag!), the 4% up charge for using a credit card, and the $3 up charge for “allergy modification “ on an item labeled gluten free on the menu.
The receipt was not itemized, so we later went to ask for the reason the total was $9 more than expected. We were shown the fine pront at the bottom of the menu about the gluten free up charge. I am not sure if the credit card up charge was on the menu anywhere.
The food tasted good apart from being too salty. But both of us experienced gastrointestinal upset for a day after eating there.

Well, just found our new Asian cuisine destination in Banner Elk. You pull up to the exterior and well, you’re a little curious and hopeful the inside and food are better than what the exterior would lead you to believe. Don’t be fooled, this place has delicious, well prepared food. They are able to accommodate allergen restricted diets as well. We had Spicy Tuna Roll, Hibachi Chicken, Fried Rice, and Vegetable/Pork rolls. The Ginger Salad is amazing!! A little pricey however worth it.

Horrible service. Completely ignored for half an hour and it took another half an hour to even get water. When we tried to stop a waitress to ask if we could order she said she would be back in a minute but never returned. Other people were sitting around just as long. The food did nothing to make up for this.

This is a great place for Asian food in Banner Elk. The food is exceptional and I eat lots of Asian food. Right up there with big cities in terms of freshness and taste.

Omg this place is delicious! Yes, it is attached to a gas station. Ignore that. The people are very friendly and , most importantly, the food was amazing. We had Thai Tea and the most decadent boba tea, fried dumplings, hibachi steak and scallops, beef pho, and a crazy good (and dramatically displayed) giant yellowtail roll, plus some more things. We went somewhere else the next night for dinner which was only “ok” and my family told me they wished we had just gone back to Nguyens again. Thank you for a memorable meal.
