The staff was friendly but the food was horrible. We got a chicken plate, a seafood combo, a burger and the sampler appetizer. While the burger was good, nothing else was. There was no flavor to anything, the chicken was dry, the seafood was overcooked and tasted like flour. The chicken tenders are nothing more than enlarged McDonald's nuggets just tougher, and the hot sauce couldn't save them. The nachos also had little flavor past the cheese sauce that was put on it. We ended up barely touching any of the food.

I ordered the most simple breakfast. 2 scrambled eggs and hash Browns. My husband ordered carolina omelet with a pancake and biscuit. His came out hot, Mine was COLD. Just don't understand that one NEVER COMING BACK HERE!!!

Went there for breakfast based off a recommendation from a coworker. Got the Fat Fella Breakfast. The sausage patties were thin pieces of charcoal. The eggs, hash browns and French toast were ok.

My wife and I were returning to Beaufort from New Bern after dropping our son off at the airport. We were excited to go to breakfast having never been in Fat Fellas before. We were quickly seated, had our drink orders taken, and decided on what we were going to eat. That's when things went straight downhill. Our orders were taken and we waited....several folks arrived after us and started to receive their food. I should have inquired, but didn't thinking surely ours would soon arrive. After 30 minutes of waiting, our waitress came and informed us that there had been an error in the printing process of when she placed our order and when the kitchen had received it. She quickly explained that our order had been placed in priority status and would arrive soon. We watched her help other customers and enjoy having conversations with them while we continued to wait. After 10 more minutes, we left. Being a restaurant owner myself, I was shocked that management did not come out to discuss the situation. Needless to say....we won't be returning.

This establishment is a local owned market fresh, Fat Fellas, Bbq, Grille & Catering.. Atmosphere is outstanding for the Grill and dining area experience. The chopped BBQ is outstanding and will rank as one of North Carolina.... very clean atmosphere with plenty of space to park. Curb pick available.
The hush puppies ???? being from Massachusetts, I didn't understand why there was so many packs of butter with them until my uncle explained. I tried it and it was amazing. The fried chicken was delicious and the pulled pork with their BBQ sauce was also very good! Great friendly service and unbeatable prices..
