My husband picked up take out from here while he was in town for work. We live in New Bern. The salad was decent and the pizza was okay, but it definitely could’ve stayed in the oven longer. However, the baked ziti was horrible. In my husband’s words, the baked ziti was “trash.” There was barely any sauce, it was mostly just pasta and cheese. Definitely not worth $14 for the ziti.

I have been a big fan of Franks Garlic and Pepperoni Pizza for a while. This last trip it was still good, but the crust was thicker and too much of an edge. The garlic was not fresh sliced garlic but a bunch of 'jarlic' spooned on. Was it bad? No. Was it the excellent experience I've had in the recent past? No.

We love Franks! My husband and I have only been here twice and we ordered the pizza/wings special. The food is so good. The kitchen is fast too. They had one server, Tiffini, for the whole place who was hustling, taking dine in and take out orders. She was awesome. We will definitely be back more often!
