To me, the mark of a great BBQ joint is their brisket ... and ... well ... Smithfields does not have brisket. But, what they lack in fully embracing the full spectrum of BBQ, they make up with their pulled pork. Tender, juicy and bursting with that Carolina tang! Loved it!!! But of course you have to lean into that vinegar side of BBQ ... and for me I am full tilt.
And ... the Brunswick Stew was def worth the taste. Heavy in pork ...light in veggies ... but hey, what's wrong with that - right?

Don was very friendly and hospitable, food is hot and in large portions (our first time so didn't know how much food we were getting). Had chicken and slaw, good food. The shrimps were great and the pecan pie wasn't too sweet (perfect for us). Thank you

Love going to this Smithfield’s, all the employees are amazing and friendly. The food is always great, our go to place to eat out.
This was my first time eating at Smithfields. The staff was friendly even though they were pretty busy. I ordered sides and sweet tea for a family picnic and was delighted. The coleslaw tasted fresh, the Brunswick stew was a hit with my family, and their hushpuppies were very tasty. I would definitely go there again.

Really good fried chicken but stay away from the BBQ chicken! Taste like it's boiled and smeared with some BBQ sauce. Terrible! Fried chicken shrimp and about everything else is great! Service is outstanding!
