We stopped in to pick up some BBQ and sides to take to the condo. The BBQ was yummy. The hush puppies were good. We enjoyed the Cole slaw. The potato salad could use more seasoning but it was okay. I wouldn't recommend the banana pudding, kinda disappointing. We sure wish they would add some green beans and potatoes to the menu.

The chicken tenders were amazingly delicious with a very flavorful, light breading. The pulled pork sandwiche with slaw on it was so good.

I ordered chicken white snack and got a wing & a thigh. They were ill equipped to handle a simple order What is this location trying to pull? They think they can be full people

To me, the mark of a great BBQ joint is their brisket ... and ... well ... Smithfields does not have brisket. But, what they lack in fully embracing the full spectrum of BBQ, they make up with their pulled pork. Tender, juicy and bursting with that Carolina tang! Loved it!!! But of course you have to lean into that vinegar side of BBQ ... and for me I am full tilt.
And ... the Brunswick Stew was def worth the taste. Heavy in pork ...light in veggies ... but hey, what's wrong with that - right?

Don was very friendly and hospitable, food is hot and in large portions (our first time so didn't know how much food we were getting). Had chicken and slaw, good food. The shrimps were great and the pecan pie wasn't too sweet (perfect for us). Thank you

This was my first time eating at Smithfields. The staff was friendly even though they were pretty busy. I ordered sides and sweet tea for a family picnic and was delighted. The coleslaw tasted fresh, the Brunswick stew was a hit with my family, and their hushpuppies were very tasty. I would definitely go there again.
