We love Stable Grounds. Their staff is super friendly and welcoming and always a joy to see and chat with. And they make a great regular cup of coffee which is harder to find than it should be. Their food, smoothies and fancier drinks are all on point as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone

This place is WONDERFUL. I needed a quiet place to get some work done and grab an early lunch. I got a bagel sandwich that was phenomenal and a Japanese green tea! I was able to sit at a quiet spot and get some work completed while eating some good food. I can’t wait to come back for breakfast one day soon because their coffee selection looked amazing.

Needed to grab some coffee and I was so glad we stumbled upon this shop. It was 15 minutes bf closing and some establishments can be very rude right before closing. These young ladies were very warm, friendly & considerate! They also sell sandwiches, salads & pastries & my kiddos enjoyed the pastries! They also have sugar free syrup flavors, far more than Starbucks' vanilla, like sf hazelnut, vanilla, caramel & mocha. They also have a couple of local vendors' gifts like earrings, fudge and crochet/knitted pumpkins for sale.
If you're leaving Morehead City heading back west, go ahead and take a short detour through the quaint town Newport and check this place out!💞 ((The Newport Historical Museum is right nextdoor.))
