The owner was here today and he offered us a sample of his catfish his black pepper catfish it’s to die for chicken and waffles are amazing. The buffalo chicken is amazing. This is the best food ever please if you’re in Newton, come check it out. It is worth Your while.

My husband and I really enjoy the food here. We like that it is not overcooked like a lot of places do with their fried food. They have a wide variety of choices, too. I wish we were closer to this place we would order more often
Best Chicken sandwich I've ever had seriously, huge portion crispy and never chewy. Always call 15min before pickup because they truly do make it to order. My favorite chicken sandwich place by far.

I ordered the Canadian Flounder plate. I got a side of Hushpuppies, chili cheese fries. & mac & cheese. The food was hot and delicious. Only thing is I don't do spicy food's and the chili on my fries was really spicy. I wish they noted that on the menu or have a non spicy version cause it's flavor is good.

Today was our first time eating here and we were able to sample some different dishes on the menu. The owner was extremely gracious and all of the food was fantastic. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it..The fish, chicken, and sides are all wonderful. Everything was fresh, and most everything is made in house, not frozen..Amazing service and food..
As a trucker I am always on the look out for home cooking. Especially, I am a very picky eater and don't eat everyone's cooking! But I am so glad that I was able to get a load near Newton NC and was able to try out Dixie's Fish and Chicken. The service was impeccable. You are greeted with a smile and patience as I looked over the menu! I was also given some food ideas to try and I am so glad that I did especially the fried squash! I tried the Carolina Dog, Quarter White Chicken Combo, The fish Combo Perch and Flounder, and a side of onion rings; I must say I sat in my truck and ate like a KING!!!!!! I also like the customers interacted with one another and knew the staff. There were a lot of laughter and smiles during my visit and I know where to eat at if I am ever back in the area of Newton NC!!!!! #DixieFishandChicken
Parking: I drive semi trucks and was able to Bobtail to this location and fit into a parking spot!
Kid-friendliness: The restaurant seemed very family oriented. The impeccable service with the home cooking will make this a memory any child would remember and would love to revisit! I definitely give Dixie's Fish and Chicken two thumbs up with a high five!!!!!!
