Went about 1pm on Saturday. The bar had already been picked over. Our waitress was good, the food is too overpriced on the weekends and could be a little fresher. The fried chicken and the deserts were the best part of meal. They do not offer a senior discount as Golden Coral and some other restaurants do.

Food did not seem fresh- kinda old. Only thing not half bad was the fried flounder. Best of all was the dessert, though...chocolate mousse cake, apple pie, ice cream machine with all the toppings. Excellent service!

I use to come here as a child on Sundays the food use to be soooo incredible My husband and I just left and the 5minutes we were there felt like we were in a freakin twilight zone. I didn’t even captured pictures and I hate that I didn’t. The corn omg I’ve never had corn to turn into straight mush in my mouth the Salisbury steak or whatever it was looked like banquet Salisbury to be honest it was so watery I just dnt know! I definitely should’ve asked for our money back nothing on that bar wasn’t even worth the $40 that we paid. We will definitely will not be eating here ever again. Just in total shock
Buffets were great ! Was charged for Double tips which did not order or get. Asked if could get salad as a side. Was told yes and would be a $2.99 uncharge, which was fine. Actually got charged $5.99. Hamburger Steak was so overdone that the waitress made a comment as soon as she brought it that dhe would get another one if wwanted us to. Couldn't even cut into it. It was so tough. Waited so long for it that our guest that ordered it didn't even get to eat with us because we had already finished. Plus his green beans and potatoes were cold . The waitress was so nice we didn't want to complain about anything to her. We didn't notice the extra charges until the next day when we were looking at the receipt and was talking about the issues. Needless to say we won't be back.

Food was too expensive to begin with, both chicken and steak were undercooked but black on the outside. Baked potatoes weren’t hot enough to melt butter and the side salad that we were told could be one of our 2 sides were $2.00 more per plate. $38.00 for beef tips, chicken tips, 1 tea and 1water. Thats crazy. Wait staff however was great. Won’t be back again.

I grew up eating at Western Steer and it used to be one of my favorite places to eat! But this past visit will be the last visit here. The food wasn’t bad or good, it was ok. But for what you pay for it, we could have went to Texas Roadhouse and ate and at least at Texas Roadhouse you get all the rolls you want. If you get one to take with you here by gosh they will make you weigh it and pay for it. I’m not kidding either. SMH! It doesn’t matter if you just paid $18.99 for some sirloin tips with a baked potato. Our waitresses were great. We couldn’t have got better waitresses than the ones we had but we weren’t impressed with the manager. I think she needs to work on her customer service skills. Customer service goes a long ways and even if the food was just ok or bad(which is wasn’t), if you have great customer service people will still come.
