Today (my birthday) my husband and I had lunch at Dean's. This will be our new spot every time we come to town. He ordered fried catfish with collards, mac and cheese, hush puppies, and pinto beans. All the food was delicious, perfectly seasoned, and came out quickly. I had BBQ ribs, mac and cheese, collards, homemade roll and cabbage. Unbelievable! Real southern soul food! Dined in. The service was on point. The food was on point. Had fried chicken, greens and Mac n cheese. Also, fried ribs! Whew! Like eating at your relatives' house but better!
The menu is simple and the food was delicious. Collard greens were perfectly cooked and seasoned. All items ordered were delicious. Had to wait for our cornbread, but it was so good warm out of the oven. The staff were all friendly. They were busy the whole time, constant customer flow. That tells me this restaurant is well liked in the community.
