Best seafood in Stanly county hands down! The service is great too. Went here for the first time this evening and me and my hubby absolutely loved it! Oh and the owner...idk his name but he is an absolute sweetheart! Love this place!

We tried this place for the first time tonight. We did a pickup order. Everyone who helped me were extremely pleasant and nice. The order was correct, there was tons of food, and the chicken strip plates and hushpuppies with tartar sauce were delicious.

It’s the best fish house around .
If you like entertainment go on the first Thursday of each month they have a live bluegrass band. If you like savings and great food try their senior plate! It’s always more than enough and the service is very pleasant and we enjoy ourselves very much. And don’t forget the delicious dessert , the cheese cake is amazing.

This evening Kenny and I drove to Albemarle to deliver cake and food to his Uncle Mickey’s house. We were thinking on going to Jays Seafood or drive back to Denton and hit The Classic but neither restaurants were opened so I started researching restaurants in the area. Rocky River Springs Fish House popped up and I told Kenny that place sounds so familiar to me. So we decided the drive would be no further than Jays so let’s try it! We drove up and I started smiling I used to eat here when I was a teenager. I have some of the fondest memories with my best friend Laurie Ann and her family at this restaurant. Well you always think nothing can be as good as it used to be or even have the same home feeling that it did as a teenager. I’m 62 years old I probably have not been here since I was 16 and when I walked it it was like I had come home! The decor was the same charm the people were some of the same extended family and I began to tell my story. These people even remembered Laurie’s mom name and all of us eating there that many years ago. Well I must say not only is it the sweetest charm and the dearest memories but the food was as delicious as I remember as a child! No one can compete with this seafood not even Jay’s. I go to the beach to get fresh seafood and this was just as good. No grease no heavy breading and cooked to perfection! I would put it up against Hoskins any day and if you know me I go to N Myrtle Beach just to eat at Hoskins. Nowhere on the strand can compete with Hoskins! I’m sharing this story so if you’ve never heard of this sweet little restaurant you are missing out! I’ve found my home again and I love patronizing any business that upfront tell you we are Christian and run our business on those values alone. Our food sells itself for 57 years and their service was nothing but top notch. When young teenagers speak with such respect yes sir, yes ma’am, thank you for your business I will support you! Thank you Rocky River Springs Fish House for taking me back to my childhood but most of all for never changing who you are!!! Check them out I promise you will leave with a smile on your face and a full belly of delicious seafood!!!

We try to get to Rocky River Springs at least once a week. Food is great, service is always amazing! And they serve Java Jeff coffee and tea. Our favorite! Can’t beat it!🐳

Over cooked everything tartar sauce is Heinz or some nasty store bought stuff wouldn't ever go there again.
