My favorite lunch spot in Oak Island. Hot dogs are delicious, buns are soft, chili is excellent. Indoor seating and also outdoor picnic tables so you can have your pup join you for lunch.
Delicious hot dogs at great prices! The Oak Island dog has a tasty chili and a great combo with mustard, onion, and slaw. Fresh fries come in little brown bags, and the Cheerwine was a great compliment. The place is small inside, but we sat at the picnic tables under the 'tiki' umbrella and enjoyed our inexpensive and very delicious lunch.
Bob’s Dogs is seriously the spot. The hot dogs are legit—perfect snap, super fresh toppings, and the buns don’t fall apart (big win). I went with the chili cheese dog and it was messy in the best way possible. Fries? Crispy perfection.
But honestly, the coolest part? It’s dog friendly. Being able to hang out with friends, crush some hot dogs, and bring my pup along is such a vibe. The staff even came out to say hi to him, which just made the whole thing...
