Was looking forward to this breakfast. The bacon was great. The eggs were overcooked, biscuit stale and fell to pieces when picked up. 1/2 order of pancake was one and it was more of a crepe. Breakfast potatoes were delicious but were actually a type of steak fry. Better served for lunch or dinner meals. Otherwise….nice people and cute ambiance:-)
Went on Saturday 3/8 around 10am. It was busy, but not in a chaotic way. We waited about 15 mins to be seated. I picked Fixins just based on seeing their menu on Google. Was not disappointed! I ordered a build your own breakfast bowl with fresh veggies and bacon and sweet potatoes. It came with cheese and Old Guilford Mill grits and fluffy scrambled eggs. The chef brought our plates out, he was running food out to everyone! He checked on multiple tables after they got their food....
Outstanding meal! Love the local sources for products. Great breakfast, burgers and fries (sidewinder & sweet potatoes) - awesome. Love they have cooking classes - may be my favorite OKI restaurant.
