This is let alone in my opinion better than south port!!! Every time I go to Oak Island, I always come here. It’s the best restaurant ever!!!!!! Their cheese curds are to die for and don’t get me started on the pasta salad. It may be in a small container, but it is delicious. The service is usually kind of good sometimes they’re understaffed, but it’s the best restaurant in my opinion in Oak Island. See you next weekend lazy turtle

The Lazy Turtle is where we fell in love with Oak Island. You walk around the side of the building to the best view on the island. The water, the sand and the Oak island pier. It was here that we realized what Jimmy Biffet had been singing about all those years. The food and drinks were just as great then as they are now. Lauren was awesome!! She answered all of our questions and was very patient with us and our food allergy. Highly recommend the Hurricane, nachos with ground beef, and the Carolina Joe sandwich. ?
