Had another great experience at Shagger Jacks! Took a friend out for her birthday and the food was so good, I had the swordfish (which was a special, they don’t have it all the time) and it didn’t disappoint, cooked to perfection! I must also say that they have the nicest staff! Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Lilly, she is the sweetest server ever!

I've dined here over 10 times within the past year and every time I attend, the service is phenomenal. The wait staff are attentive and funny and they also provide very fast service! They have the absolute best Island Poke bowls and Island bowls that I've had on Oak Island. If I were to recommend one side that someone would have to get if they came here, it would have to be the smoked gouda potatoes! They are delicious and creamy and very addictive.
Parking: This restaurant gets very busy at dinner time and the parking lot is quite small. I'd recommend getting there on the earlier side for dinner to make sure you can acquire good parking.

A funky, unassuming seafood place on Oak Island NC with a relaxing atmosphere. Our waiters and servers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing blackened shrimp and halibut with Gouda potatoes.Tried some new-to-us beers! Highly recommended!

It was the beach so everything was overpriced, but this seemed a bit more than average especially considering the amount of food you got. I had a single taco with a rice/ bean side for $10 and my husband got an island bowl that was $20 for a rather small bowl. Service was ok I don’t think there were many people there, but refills were hard to come by. Probably wouldn’t go back if we’re out that way again, it’s just not filling enough for the cost.
