This place was amazing. I'm giving the food a 4.5 out 5 only because I wish the scallops were done calabash style. I love the softer breading on the seafood as opposed to panko. I also really wished Swains would sell the raspberry pepper jam in a jar. We sat in the bar area the first night we went and it got quite loud. Sqains needs to put up some acoustic tiles to dampen the sound. But overall a wonderful experience and excellent food and service.

The meals are very well seasoned, prepared and cooked. I have the tendency to skip over steak menu items when I visit Swain's because I'm there for the seafood. On this occasion, my wife ordered the NY Strip and gave me a couple of bites. I'm telling you, I know what I'm getting the next time I visit Swain's, the NY Strip! My goodness that was one fine tasting steak. I tried the Cajun scallops on this visit and they were delicious. I've had the Mermaid Delight on previous visits and that is a wonderful dish too. Whether you're vacationing or a local resident, you really should give Swain's a try.

If u like fried seafood dont go here I spent over a hundred. Fish and shrimp had no seasoning in breading was tasteless i was disappointed the hush puppies was the only thing that was good on a combination fried platter

Lots of food for the cost. Only complaint...breading is too thick and taste very bland. Apps and desserts are the best.

Oh my goodness this place is AMAZING. I was already craving to go back the next day. I had the stuffed flounder and if I lived there and could afford it I would go there all the time lol. Everyone loved their meals. The chips with ranch were so good our table ate like 4 bowls. We will definitely be back.
