The server was checked out. Brought our chips & salsa late, usually get right away. I had to ask another server for salsa. Never refilled our drinks. He simply disappeared on us after bringing food. Guessing because it was close to 8 pm, or maybe it was because we looked like Oakboro bumkins. Food was ok.

We stopped in late on Saturday night during the rush. The place was packed, yet I felt very well taken care of the entire time. My drink stayed full. The food was good, fast and hot. Street tacos were a little dry but very good.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the tacos and fried ice cream

Los Jacubes is no question the best restaurant in Oakboro. Staff is friendly and willing to help, food is always good, prices are still decent and atmosphere is good. The service they provide is top notch. Most of them have my voice memorized so they know my order when I walk in which is such amazing attention to your customers. 5 stars no question.

Love Los Jacubes. The service and food is excellent. This is a weekly staple for my family. One of the only restaurants I have ever been to that the server actually runs to the kitchen to get things we request. Excellent place to eat!

This was our first time trying Los Jacubes and it exceeded our expectations! We got the ACP Classic and Pollo Adobo. My wife recently had Bariatric surgery and does her best to avoid starches and carbs. They happily accommodated her special requests without the puzzled looks we sometimes get at other places.We visited at 1 o'clock on a Saturday and while they were busy there was still plenty of seating. Our food came out within 4 minutes of ordering. The flavor and portion sizes were great and the staff were very courteous and attentive. Very reasonably priced as well.We will definitely be back!Parking: Lots of free areas to park including the street and neighboring lots.Dietary restrictions: The staff was accommodating of removing ingredients.
