Best food and service around đ
Not impressed. They obviously have a great location, in line with the two causeway anchors, but they don't measure up.
My sandwich was somewhat tasteless and built on stale bun and meats were not a good taste. The condiments were blobbed on at different spots on the sandwich so my last bite was were all the mustard was placed?? just didn't get it.
They also handed me the dirtiest, torn and disgusting $5.00 bill in my change. I can see a restaurant needed to accept a bill like that to square the cost of the meal, but most quality restaurants, would put nasty tender aside, place it in an envelope with their cash deposit so the bank can take it out of circulation, that's what I did with it.
This is what happens when poorly trained youth work in a grown up business. It is not that they mean to poorly build sandwiches from marginal ingredients, they are just doing with what they have and have never considered that things could be different.
Training would help, and empathy, for the customer.
Don't pout, be glad I did this review, learn from it. Always work on your presentation and taste so people will want to come back. that's the whole idea with this Island, getting people to come back. Good luck this season. Will they say nothing and never come in again? Or will they come back because you left a great experience in their mind?

Had breakfast there several times during a recent stay. Food was really good and service was excellent. Enjoyed sitting out on the back patio overlooking the sound.
I ordered a Simple Latte and my husband had a Creamy Chocolate. My husband, unfortunately, had been spoiled by Ediya Cafe in South Korea so his comment was "it's decent but no Ediya". Alas I too have been spoiled by South Korea but definitely was a better latte than some other mom and pop shops I've been to since moving to NC for 3 years. Definitely will be back when in the area.

5 stars all the way around. Staff was super sweet and accommodating. The Flower Bouquet Latte was the best latte I've ever had đ Bagel sandwiches are super yummy as well. I will definitely be back.

Employees are rude and not good with communication. Wonât be going back. Terrible going to a place with bad service just for food thatâs not even that good. Would recommend Bagel Dock Express way better food and people

First timers here. Walked in, stood at the door uncertain if you get seated or how they operate. After standing a while a customer at one of the tables said to go around the corner and order at the counter. No signs/directions on how this establishment works; confusing. Their menu offers cinnamon rolls and at 10am they didnt have any. I ordered a latte, came out a cappuccino and very heavy espresso. Only a very small choice of bagels. Bagels very dry, scrambled eggs wet and mediocre. Not a fan.

If yer crew be cravinâ bagels, 59 Causeway Drive has yer sails covered!
We dropped anchor on a fine Saturday morninâ âround 9:30 (Forenoon Watch), and it took a good 30 minutes ter place our order. But no worries, mate. Our time becalmed was worth ever' second, ye may lay ter that!
We reclined outside in Add-arrrr-Ron-Deck chairs, enjoyinâ the crisp fall air while boats in the creek set sail fer high seas, shrimp in the Waterway, and fun afloat. Dog-friendly, 59 be, and the little scallywags ran wild until their morning grub arrived.
I plundered a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich whilst others did the same with more haste.
The real marvel be the sturdy plastic water cups. One iced coffee took a tumble overboard (arm of the chair) and landed on grass, yet not a drop was spilled! Another cup was toted 'round by a wee lad no more than two and yet its lid remained snug as a barnacle on a hull. Those fancy cups saved us sixpence and more, ye may lay ter that. Three cheers ter the owners fer springinâ fer better disposables.
Great food, great time, and tasty treasures await at 59.
Life be sweeter with sand in yer boots and salt in the air! Get down ter the coast, mates!

Amazing food & amazing service. They were busy & still went out of their way to make sure my daughterâs anaphylactic egg allergy was taken seriously and prioritized. This is the first time weâve eaten at a breakfast spot in over a year bc of her allergy & I could not recommend this place more! Delicious bagels & the kindest staff.
