Our party of 5 had a wonderful dinner here last evening. Everything was delicious, portions were large. Our server was so pleasant, guitarist played nice music. Highly recommend!

We just moved here and have ordered take out from various places while we are unpacking. This restaurant is unbelievable!!!! Hands down the best eggplant parm I've ever had!!! Very generous portions, exceptional customer service, we were welcomed to the community! We will definitely be back!!!

Best enjoyed when there's an event: trivia, wine pairing, etc.

Best Italian restaurant in North Carolina. Family owned and the food will knock your socks off. If you don’t give this a try you will certainly be sorry.

We drove in to OIB from Ohio today (10.5 hours) and were happy to find Talk of the Town for dinner. We were not dressed for an upscale dinner but were assured we were ok. The ambiance was charming with a live piano player. The food was delicious. I had the eggplant parmesan and my husband had the Chicken Piccatta. The portions were very generous. My husband enjoyed the Tarufo gelato dessert. Our server Allie was great.

Walked in at 7:45pm on a Wednesday night. We were greeted very rudely and asked what we wanted. I asked for a table for 3 and they looked at me like there was something wrong with me. The website says they close at 9pm. We were turned away, very rudely.

Just moved to Sunset Beach and we're trying the restaurants. In short, good service. Mediocre food.

Service was average. Our server may have been great a breakfast diner server, but not at Talk of the Town. It took her 3 attempts to get our check correct. Guitar player's volume was so loud we had to yell to talk to each other. Maybe that's why the restaurant was empty on a busy 4th of July weekend

Told food was hand made, did not taste like it. No salad included like other restaurants the area. Finally, food arrived 10 minutes after ordering.

don't let the little strip mall style plaza throw you off the restaurant was absolutely amazing. very authentic cuisine. with a very spacious dining room. my server's name was Kate (ask for her) one of the friendliest people I think I've ever met very knowledgeable about the menu. super professional. all in all I highly recommend this as a dining experience if you are in the shallotte North Carolina area. 100 worth of trip will go again

The service was phenomenal, but the food was absolutely disgusting. Terrible lasagna, terrible egg rolls, terrible chicken pacada Pizza Hut would have been a much better choice. will never recommend nor go back
