The food was very tasty. I had the Fish Rueben and my son had the Soft Shell Crab. The 4 stars comes from there being only 1 crab served in the entree, and well, that was just not enough for anyone with man-sized appetite! The crab came with a smallish portion of fries. He was ready for a burger by the time we made it back to Hatteras.

Our favorite spot to eat in Hatteras/Ocracoke. Delicous pineapple cilantro margarita. Probably other cocktails are also good but I always get the same one :). Oysters are fantastic - highly recommend the mon Luis. The shrimp tacos are also great.

Oysters are worth it and nothing else on the menu can be described less than over rated for the price. Bartender obviously has issues with visitors praying before their meal.

Updated review since my last one was 4 years ago. Come hungry. Portion sizes increased---as well as pricing. The Crab Stuffed Flounder was delicious as well as the Blackened Flounder. The Blooming Onion was huge and really good. The oysters were ok. We had a party of 7, sat outside. We all ate very well here. 4 Years Ago: Very nice place to eat. Liked the atmosphere. Food is overpriced for portions recd. Great food.

Not happy with the food at all! We had stopped to get appetizers and drinks but after looking at the price of the drinks we decided to get a meal instead. Be forewarned that if you see anything on the menu at market price, please ask! We ordered the crab dip which could not be called crab dip since all that you could taste was the cream cheese. My sister had asked about gluten free options since she has dietary restrictions from a medical condition but there were none. To top it off the crab dip was served with a loaf of bread which she could not eat. When I got the bill, I was shocked that they had charged $17.99 for the crab dip that ultimately ended up in the trash. The fries were good but the fish was inedible. It was mushy and tasteless. It even looked old like it had either been reheated or previously frozen. Very disappointed and will not be going back since there are too many good places to eat on the island.

On a quick trip to Ocracoke with my native husband and others, we stopped by at the Ocracoke Oyster Company, as our first choice of restaurants was too busy. We walked into this establishment and noticed there was only one other table occupied at the height of lunch hour - this should have been red flag #1. My husband ordered the crab cakes which were dry and the taste was spurious at best. Did I mention they were $30? Another one of our party members had the fried flounder which tasted like Clorox. The sidewinder fries were good in theory, but tasted like all the other fried seafood items. Service was nice, and I wish I could say the same about the meal. With a tip, we regrettably spent $100 for two meals. If someone ever creates a time machine, please let me know so I can go back to 09/02/25 at 12:00pm and avoid this restaurant!

The spicey pinnaple margaritta was amazing, and the tuna bites and seafood dip were great.

Had a great lunch with a group of 8 today. Pretty sure we managed to order a bit of everything from oysters, hush puppies, wings ,tuna, pasta, salad and sandwiches. Everyone enjoyed everything we ate. The server was friendly and the food came out quickly. We sat outside to accommodate our pup. And the blueberry mojito was perfection. Thanks!

We wanted some oysters and it seemed like a good island option. Unfortunately, I had quite a bit of shell in my oysters rockerfeller which were also a bit overcooked. Hubs did alright with the raw ones (I like them but my food safety brain just can't allow). Crab dip, though tasty, seemed overpriced. If sitting outside w no breeze you will be on mosquitos tasting menu. Best part was amazing array of hot sauce options!

Great oysters and a pretty good cheesesteak
The worst experience. Extremely expensive and massively overpriced
They charge a gratuity of 20% for five of us. The food is crap. The oysters are gross and only had a small container of what I think was cocktail sauce. Gross!!!!

We’ve been here several times for drinks and music, but this was the first for dinner. My daughter and I shared raw and baked oysters and absolutely LOVED them.
My GF who doesn’t love seafood has the blackened mahi protein bowl and said it was fantastic.
Can’t wait to go back.
