I couldn’t recommend this little cafe enough. Probably because I know the owners and they are the greatest family you’ll meet in Old Fort. But, also the food, vibe, and unique items you can find here on any given day is unlike anything else in the area. Truly a gem in this tiny community.

I finally made it down to Old Fort to try The Davis Country Store & Cafe. I got their Reuben on Rye that they are known for. I was originally drawn to them because of the Livermush Biscuit I saw on facebook. Unfortunately I arrived well...

I had a couple of sandwiches from here last week...THE RUBIN WAS THE BEST SANDWICH I'VE EATEN. If I had known it had sauerkraut on it I would have been scared off but I AM SO GLAD I GOT IT! TWENTY STARS DELICIOUS!
