In a time when inflation is rapidly changing the value equation of dining out, M & M was outstanding exception. We arrived on a boat and wanted to treat ourselves after a rough day on the water. But bar food was getting monotonous, so we picked this venue. What a great choice: fresh shrimp almost right off the local boats, entree selection varied and vast, prep, presentation, and vibe all excellent. And NOT crazy expensive! Will hit it again upon our return.
Prices were 25% to 50% lower here (depending on the item) than in Virginia and Maryland and the food was better. My husband and I ordered the grilled scallops and tuna and shared. They were both wonderful. Very friendly bartender and local diners. Highly recommend.
"Arrr, it’s been a fair spell since I’ve dined at M&M’s, but even when the power went out in port—courtesy of some scallywag takin' out a power pole in Shilo—the corn crab chowder was as delightful as I recall! A hearty salute ter the crew fer keepin’ the spirit alive, with prices and fare as bountiful as in the glory days of the ’90s and 2000s.
