First, they didn’t have the chips for my order. I was just gunna get a refund and leave. They had the manager come speak to me and has the cook make them, cool great. When she goes back up stairs the cook asks the cashier what I looked like and can’t wait to open a restaurant where he can be mean to customers and not deal with people like me.. very unprofessional.. free cake doesn’t make me feel better cause I wanted a MENU ITEM.
Went at a busy time of day. Very noisy. Servers were incredibly busy. They did a good job of assisting customers. Pizza was ok today. The garlic parmasam knots were not very tasty. However, the texture of the hot rolls were great!
Pizza are small for the price in my opinion.

I had the special of bang bang shrimp. Really good flavor, but the rice was rather overcooked. My husband had the Stromboli. He said the crust was really delicious. The service folks were all attentive and good.

This is a great place to stop what you’re doing and go have lunch or dinner. The building is so unique. You will not find another restaurant like it. The decor and the history of the wood beams are stunning. Let’s get to the food. It has a great variety of dishes to fit everyone. From kids to the one person that is picky I am sure a dish is waiting on you. You need a beer or a mix drink, the bar is calling your name. The price is $$$ for general plates. They do have specials. They have great appetizers. Stop by and have a great meal. Tell them Steve sent you!

Wheelchair accessibility: Main dining is upstairs so not ideal for wheelchairs, it is possible to eat downstairs but you miss the atmosphere.

I had the turkey bacon melt on lettuce, no bread. It was huge and very good. My friend had a hamburger which he said was quite good. It was not a pre-formed patty.

We ordered a few dishes for takeout and loved the food. The shrimp was cooked well and the sauce was delicious. The pizza was good, seemed a little underdone. The eggplant parm had good flavor too. However, when we got home we noticed there was no linguine with the eggplant dish. When I called them to ask if there was anything that could be done I was told that the pasta is free so there was no compensation that could be given. This was disappointing since the meal that we paid for came with linguine and it was not present which did diminish the quality of the dish. The person we spoke to seemed very dismissive and did not offer any solution, the only explanation was that it seemed they made an unusual error but there was nothing they could do to fix it. The food was good but the poor service was enough to stop me from recommending The Silos.

Our family had a great experience eating at The Silos Restaurant. We were there early for dinner and the bar tender filled right in and took care of our family of 4. Very helpful in helping us pick our dinner as the menu is extensive. We went Italian with meatball app, calzone, and pizza. Good value and great taste. It gets busy about 5:30pm so definitely an early dine place if trying get a quick bite for the family. They are also setup for live music and that would be great if we could have stayed a while.

We had the nicest young lady wait on our table. She did a great job, and the food as always was great. I got the lasagna and my husband got the chicken parmigiana. ?

I went in during my lunch break with my sister and her friends. I ordered a chicken ceaser salad and once everyone else’s food came out the waitress told me that they were out of Lettuce and so I didn’t have time to get any food for lunch. Terrible customer service.

Super cool place and really good food. Had multiple things to try as much as we could and it was all flawless. If I had to find a negative I’d say maybe they could put a little less cheese on stuff. They really over cheesed all of our dishes. And I LOVE cheese but I even had to take some off just to get to the food underneath! Was a crazy amount of cheese lol but still totally worth going 100%! And we even showed up like 30 min b4 close and they were still very nice and not rushing us or anything. And atmosphere is super cool too! Probably best food in oriental NC.
Parking: It’s a smaller gravel lot but plenty of room

Oh my! I went to The Silos a few years ago and had really good pizza. Well ya know how 'they' say wine and women improve with age? So does the pizza at Silos! I had a couple rough days {In & out of ER.} and needed food for my soul, as well as my body. Now I'm from Pittsburgh and we know pizza. So does The Silos. Great mushroom pie. Really fantastic server, Leah. She got my tea exactly how I like it and that's hard to do. Plus she is a sweet young woman who's mum should be proud. So.....if you are hungry for really, REALLY good pizza pie, head out NC 55 into Oriental and look for the two.....Silos of course! Best Northern pizza in the south. ? Mangia!
Vegetarian options: Most things on the menu can be worked with. I was a vegetarian for nearly 10 years and would have no trouble with The Silos menu should I return to the vegetarian life...which I hope to do soon.
Dietary restrictions: I saw gluten free listed on the menu.
Parking: Parking can be 'odd'. It's not paved and not marked. So it pretty much depends on the common sense of your fellow diners. Also there is only 1 handi"capable" parking spot. Hey Silos dude, howz about a couple more spots?
Kid-friendliness: Seems ok. It's more of an adult place. Kids earlier in the evening, but beware most dining {Except for a small downstairs area.} is upstairs.
Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is literally at ground level. Just a bump and you are in. If you want the bar and live music that is on the second floor ~ stairs. That being said, you can grab a table downstairs in the "adjacent" silo. You have access to the ladies & gents and you can hear the guys playing very easily. I prefer it myself.
