Small country diner with menu items and a daily cafeteria style foods. Can't say enough about the food and the service! We were amazed that at least four different people came out to check on us and to talk! Great place to go if your in the neighborhood!

We came here as a last minute decision because where we planned to go was closed and we didn't know any other restaurants in the area and didn't want fast food. Pleasantly surprised. Food was wonderful, staff was super nice and helpful. Cafeteria type setting.

Stumbled on to this place and let me tell you it is worth it. Haven’t had home cooked food this good since my mother passed. Friendly folks that take pride in everything they do from the food, service and cleanliness. Can’t recommend enough.

Not a bad experience. Reminded me of my high-school cafeteria. Popped in for some breakfast. The food was okay, and the atmosphere was fine, but it was the service that shone. The folks that worked behind the counter were the genuine article. Good-ol southern hospitality. I'll be back.

Fast Food NOT! No need to waste your time or hunger at a fast food chain. We stopped for lunch while passing through going south. Real down home cooking by lovely people AND quick. ?

The amatroics are really nice, and the place also had really good pizza and you where allowed in the closet with the costumes, but later I was there on July 19th, 1983. That day A kid named Evan was there for his birthday when his brother and a few other kids put him in fredbear's mouth and killed him. That was my story of the bite of 83'.

This is as authentic as it gets! REAL DOWN HOME FARE! I’ve tasted just about everything on the menu with no complaints! Friday Fish Day is standing room only! Order ahead or come early for whiting, trout, flounder, tilapia, catfish, and shrimp!! You’re in for a real treat with the homemade desserts. I’ve been coming here for years! As a member of the Oxford Woman’s Club, this has become our go to spot for our lunch meetings and I love to meet out of town friends here as well!Vegetarian options: Would love to see more optionsDietary restrictions: The veggie plates are ALWAYS GREAT!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entry

Went in for lunch. Food being served in my opinion was very heavy for lunch. The Mac and cheese was very bland and greasy. Fried chicken was OK nothing special. The collard greens were awful very bland tasted like dirt. The chocolate pie my niece got was terrible. The texture was gummie and had absolutely no flavor didn't taste like chocolate at all. The interior wasn't as clean as it should have been. Looks run down. The only good thing was the staff was very friendly and nice. It was our first time coming here. And sadly we will not be back due to the quality of the food. So disappointing as we like to support local businesses.

Went in for breakfast. No customers in line. About 7 employees working. No one would acknowledge us. We stood at the serving counter for over five minutes. We were seen but never acknowledged. Our verbal inquires were ignored. We wanted to support a small business instead of a chain restaurant. We were never acknowledged so we left disappointed and hungry. We are guessing that they did not want to serve us as we are white? Would not recommend that anyone visit this place.

I could eat here everyday. We need more places like this, everywhere. I took my wife and some of our coworkers for breakfast this morning and all of us loved everything. 4 meals with drinks for under $30-plenty of food and it was really good. I'm from Alabama but I'll definitely eat here again when I'm in the area.

I love Family Diner in Oxford! The food is made with love! The people who own and work there promote a positive, friendly environment, even when they're extremely busy and this mindset seems to spread to the patrons as well. They've catered personal and work events for me and they don't disappoint! If you haven't done so already, drop by and give them a try!
