George's is a Granville county staple. You can ALWAYS find something on the menu to suit everyone in your party. (At least I've found that to be true.) Also, if you look online at their menu you will get the list of specials they have that day. And if you EVER see the Herb Chicken Dinner with the cilantro and lime marinade, do yourself a favor. Order it immediately. Now I'm one of those weird people that cilantro usually tastes like dirty dish water, but whatever...
We did a door dash order for fried mushrooms and the grilled shrimp dinner from George’s and they did not disappoint! 5 stars for the chef who cooked our dinner!!! Highly recommend George’s Restaurant in Oxford.

I got the ribeye sandwich today to try and the fries.... Well they gave me chips, which I didn't want and the sandwich was pretty sad. The meat was super thin, so it was not worth the price. The crab dip also didn't have as much meat in it and it was a LOT less than it used to be. This was a SUPER disappointing visit today.
