Thanks so much for visiting with us today at Carolina Arbors. Your bread we took home was delicious. We plan to visit you in Oxford later this Fall. All the best!

Strange to walk in this place to look around and feel like it’s a white collar crowd with three mortgages and a vacation home in such a poor, rural area, but that’s what you’re going to get when you walk into a place with $6 8 oz. coffees.

Don’t bother asking if they have different sizes, it’s just the small. Want sugar and creamer? That’s on a side table for you to do yourself.

Pastries are really hit or miss. The blueberry danish is awesome, but I’d rather have a Pilsbury cinnamon roll than the dry bricks they’re peddling here.

It’s a gentrified, hipster cafe in a historically agricultural area and I’d rather get my coffee from home or a gas station than this place.

Excellent service and outstanding menu. Had lunch: all ingredients were fresh and the sandwich construction well done with the appropriate amount of ingredients so the flavors melded together.

We drove up from Durham and will do so again. Exceeded expectations.

My friend and I stopped by for lunch on our way home from Lake Gaston! We both chose the Turkey and Brie sandwich! So delicious!! And the town is so quaint with beautiful architecture! So glad we decided to try out Strong Arm Bakery!

Strong Arm has ruined me for other pastries and baked goods in the best way! Everything here is amazing - food, staff, atmosphere. Anytime someone comes to town, I bring them to Strong Arm :)

A Reuben is my favorite sandwich and I have eaten many in many places over 78 years. This is not a Reuben and even disappointing as the imposter it is. Tasted only of mustard and dill pickle. Quite costly for a sandwich with a piece of meat the size of a 50-cent coin per half and without so much as a parsley leaf for added interest in presentation. The eclair was okay but left a strange aftertaste. Best thing I can say about my experience is that I find Oxford charming and my sandwich did arrive hot.

I love this place. I go every Friday and they know my order and have it ready when I get to the front of the line, they even brought back a coffee flavor because I and a few others liked it so much. Not to mention some dangerously delicious baked goods. Great food, great coffee, and the sweetest people!

The pastries and sandwiches here are delicious!! I tried the oatmeal cream sammie, and it was sooooo good. I also had a lemonade and Turkey Brie sandwich. The food is fresh, the staff was friendly, and the restuarant was clean and inviting.

The oatmeal crème sandwich is so good! I went with a plan to buy a few items to see what it was like and it was delicious. The only downside is the price of some of their baked items are a little much.

Stopped in as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, and I had a really great chat with the staff before picking up some pastries and hibiscus lemonade. The lemonade was SO good. Tart without being overly sweet. My scone was pretty good but my pop tart didn't travel quite as well LOL

Lots of various seating and nice parking in downtown which is cute to browse. Will definitely stop in the next time I'm the area.

Strong Arm isn’t just a family-owned business, it’s a family that welcomes you right in. Every bite of their food tastes like it was made just for you, using the freshest locally sourced ingredients and a whole lot of heart. We look forward to that Porch Drop menu every single week, carefully picking out our meals, breads, and treats. To me, it’s like Christmas morning every Saturday.

Their team goes above and beyond in every way, from the talent in the kitchen to the kindness of their drivers who deliver each meal with a smile and a friendly word. That extra mile they go doesn’t just fill your table, it fills your heart.

Some favorites we can’t stop talking about? The swoon-worthy Mediterranean tuna salad, soft-as-a-cloud Japanese milk bread, tangy key lime pie, baked spaghetti, pasta salads, quinoa salad, southern specialties like Chicken n Dumplings, and a variety of soups that feel like a hug in a bowl.

In the South, we say food is love and Strong Arm is overflowing with it. They’ve brought comfort, joy, and the taste of home to our door week after week. I’m so grateful for every delicious bite and every person who makes it happen.
