Worth the drive. The roasted chicken sandwich was absolutely unreal. Crunchy, flavorful ciabatta. Luscious sauce, juicy chicken, bright arugula, and melted cheese. The chocolate croissant was chock full of high quality chocolate with buttery, flaky pastry. Do not sleep on this place. I'm going to be a regular.

This will be my go-to place for lunch on my bi-weekly business trips to this area. Good coffee, good food, friendly and helpful staff, and a clean and comfortable environment. I love the plugs at the bar seating, saved me as my laptop was dying right before a meeting.

By far, my favorite place to go in NC. Beyond a great bakery, the breakfast options rival the great local Durham/Raleigh offerings, the sandwiches are out of this world, when they run dinner it’s top notch, pizza nights took me to NYC - though NYC took back the best dough man, my hopes are high he journeys back one day.. The creativity with the menu is fun and surprising! If a special pops up, I have to get it.. They donate over supply to the orphanage and support local businesses. The atmosphere is great, the people here are wonderful, the best staff ever assembled. If I could come here three times a day I would.. now that this review is wrapped up.. I’m heading to Strong Arm!

This place is THE stop if you're visiting! From sweet to savory and everything inbetween this place bakes it up! Fresh and beautifully baked breads, muffins, pastries, rolls, buns, scones, you name it, they got it! Breakfast or lunch you cannot go wrong, we most recently came for lunch and a few take-homes and left so satisfied by the meatball sub and a soup n sandwich combo. This place is truly a gem!

This bakery is so good that I drive 60 miles one way to come here! Literally everything is amazing and you cannot go wrong. I always get a sandwich, then stock up with big bags filled of goodies! Bread, cookies, pimento cheese, pastries, I love it all! Definitely get a loaf to go, no matter why you're there! Also, they have online ordering, AND you can order catering online, win-win! Thanks, Thomas and team, you all are the best!

Super busy this morning with a queue at the register that stretched almost to the door but the ladies back there seemed to have it under control and it moved well enough. When I got to the front, after standing in front of the pastries counter for a good few minutes, I had changed my mind five times. In the end, it was the chocolate croissant which they helpfully warmed up for me.

Self-service coffee was excellent and they had actual mugs in addition to paper cups. Refillable!

I found a table and hung out for about an hour trying hard not to drop croissant crumbs into my keyboard! The wifi was a bit slow but the power outlet at the table worked great. The coffee was delicious. I would definitely chill here again. It's probably not as busy in the week.
