First time eating here and it was just ok. It's hard finding good restaurants in this area and we had higher hopes. We were a party of 4 and three of the meals were overcooked and dry. Honestly, the best thing about dinner was my mac and cheese. The bar had an especially boisterous patron that had to make sure the entire restaurant heard her side of the conversations. The live music was pleasant, playing and singing jazzy Christmas tunes. Our server was fine, but needed reminding. It's a small establishment with high ceilings so a loud bar can quickly drown out any conversation you may try to have while seated at a table. Like I said, it was just ok... not a place we will be rushing back to.

Me and the wife went to this wonderful establishment and had a really great time with the food, music, service, and love they gave to their patrons. . Worth the drive for me living in Zebulon. Will definitely frequent Uptown. Check them out! You won’t be disappointed.Vegetarian options: Something you can definitely get and enjoy was the Cajun vegetable pasta. Banging!

My husband and I went here several years ago and the food was delicious + service was very good! Decided to go again this past Friday and convinced my Mom & Stepdad to join us because they live locally, but it was pitiful. We waited 40+ minutes and never even had our drink order taken so we finally got up and left. The place was musty, only one waitress was working on a Friday night and you could definitely tell that the other patrons who had actually gotten the opportunity to place a food order were frustrated at how long they had been waitiing for the food to come out! Very disappointing and what a shame because they could be a thriving business in this growing town with the right help and proper management!
