Being from Wisconsin, and down in the area for work, I found this place for a good local place to grab a late lunch. Definitely awesome! I got the Chopped Chicken sandwich with BBQ slaw and a side of onion rings. Onion rings were just like I would get from a good bar back home, and sandwich was definitely awesome too!Parking: Plenty of parking

Famous for what. Longevity I guess. Dry chicken without any flavor. The reason people say it tastes like chicken is because chicken is mostly flavorless and takes the flavor of whatever is used to season it. Um!! Yeah? Maybe they ran out of that famous stuff when I ate here. Michelle was a delightful person to talk to though.

Ok so I have been missing Ted's on South Main - I missed it's sticky tables and walls covered in dollar bills and the chicken - oh how misses the chicken. So our group of regulars from the other Ted's ventured over to this Ted's and when we walked in it smelled right. They had a half a chicken lunch special that was priced right - and as soon as it hit my lips it tasted right. All the yummy chicken is what I need - dayum! We laughed the tables are too clean, the walls to freshly painted and the staff too nice. Then we realized these things were awesome - way better then the other Ted's. Prices are higher but that's true everywhere - was worth it - we will be back - it delivered on the nostalgia we have been missing and the flavor for over a year - sometimes you just need Som Ted's Kick'n Chicken

I came back to try the Chicken Sandwich and I was more than a little disappointed. The chicken is shredded resulting in a real lack of texture, at least for my taste. While the hot chicken served here has a really nice kick to it, this shredded chicken sandwich was simply bland.I'll be back for the hot chicken, that's good eats.

Excellent food and service. Got the upper with coleslaw. Servers were working extra hard last evening. Chicken was perfect. My kind of casual ambiance.

We tried reds on a whim the other day while doing some looking around at the habitat store in the same parking lot. We were greeted right away by the server and told her it was our first time there she gave us some recommendations. We were just there for a quick bite so we did the chicken that isn't fried they said they do those to order..we will be back for that! But we both enjoyed our sandwich and the fries came out hot, the table next to us got wings that looked really good too! The place it self is a bit larger than I had thought from the outside and definitely more on the "divey" side but in a good way. There are tvs so it's definitely a great place to go watch a game or something and enjoy someBeer and food!
Tried to place a order on the phone , goes straight to voice mail to leave a message? So walk over to place a order , everything was ok , said 30 min , walk back over , waited another 30 min , still wasn't done , asked about our order , said there was 6 more ahead ? But customers that's where just coming in was , getting there food before us ? When question why , they said because they where sitting ? So I guess my money is different ? Our meal wasn't right ? Thought I would try this place , sorry there is other places that would love my money , never again !!!

This is the best chicken i have ever had. The sauce is addictive. I am a huge fan of chicken ive had it my entire life, and this is hands down my favorite. Just try it and you'll see. Five stars is the highest rating i can give it on google or i would give it 10.

You can literally go to the frozen section in the grocery store and have better food. We've tried it twice and both times were nasty. Last time fried mushrooms and chicken wings. The mushrooms were frozen and soggy. The wings dry and subpar at best. You can go to Costco get 5 times as many wings for 1/2 the price and delicious! So disappointing.

I should start with the fact that we did not get the famous chicken. If you are driving by Ted's and you stop for lunch you are going to get a good food and service but I wouldn't drive out of my way for it. My mom did say it was the best restaurant hot dog she had ever had. Perhaps my mistake was ordering chicken tenders as an adult, the world may never know. They also charged for water cups, which rubbed me the wrong way.
