“The Thai and Japanese food here are delicious! They have a large menu filled with so many good options. I personally love the Drunken Noodles especially extra spicy. I truly appreciate them using real chili peppers vs dried chili flakes because that makes a huge difference in spice level and in taste. It makes the dish authentically spicy. I also love the Soba Noodles and the Mongolian Beef dish. Both these plates are filled with robust flavors that keeps me going for more. Not only that, the people here are amazing. They make you feel like family and are very kind, generous, and very welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for flavorful asian food. They have sushi and hibachi. “One of the best restaurants out there! I come here at least once a week (often twice) and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience in the eight years I have been coming here. The food is delicious (seafood is what they are known for, but virtually everything on the menu is good). The waitresses are all very personable and will make you truly feel like you are part of their "Southern Family." They also have a party room if you have a whole lot of folks to feed. Highly recommend to everyone. This is a Pfafftown landmark!Parking: Never a problem, even when busy.”

“Walking into Oh Calcutta, a restaurant located in downtown Winston-Salem, we were so surprised by the welcoming and friendly staff. Everyone there was incredibly helpful, and not only provided us excellent service, but even gave us tips on where to go during our visit. Our waiter was so knowledgeable and helped us choose the best dishes, and the food was amazing! Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The Saag Paneer was a favorite, the Salmon was divine, and the pakoras were so yummy! What is more, the restaurant itself is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. I would highly recommend coming to Oh Calcutta!”

“Though I'd passed this colorful food truck a number of times, this was my first visit. It is now located in a lot at 815 Waughtown Street, and has operated in this area for over 5 years! I ordered the Lamb Gyro and a rice bowl with Chicken and Lamb. The food was ready in about 10 minutes, and there was a massive amount of food - easily 5 pounds of food for about $17 - if you can find more for that money, take it! The gyro was loaded, really loaded, with delicious, tender cubes of lamb, with plenty of grilled onions, lettuce and some green pepper, all wrapped in a large, very flavorful pita, smothered in the outstanding house made white sauce - always seen it called Halal Cart WhiteSauce, may have another name. This gyro is different from the Greek version, but is a great sandwich in it on right - and rivals similar street food found in Manhattan - the first place I ever encountered this type food! The Chicken and Lamb Rice Bowl was also very large, with big amounts of lamb and chicken resting of very tasty rice. There are wedges of pita, slices of cucumber, and shredded lettuce - the house white sauce goes really well with it all, including the " salad"! I would suggest ordering additional pita for this dish. Just like the Gyro this dish rivals the NYC street food version found all over Manhattan. As mentioned above the lamb is very tasty, and the chicken was as well, and it bears the characteristic red color coming from a dusting of a tandoori or Kashmiri type pepper mix. I would suggest mixing a portion of the two sauces together for the meat - outstanding flavor combo. This is another ethnic gem that I hope Winston will continue to support - I certainly intend to do my part, often! Ambiance - 0 Food - 5 Service - 5 Value - 5”

“I made my reservation through the website. We were seated fairly quickly. Our waitress Netta took our beverage orders and returned with our drinks. We ordered the New Zealand lamb chops, Duck Breast, and Pan Seared Salmon all medium rare. The food was properly cooked and pleasantly presented. We celebrated a birthday and received a complimentary dessert. The wine list is extensive, and Mondays are half-price on full and half size bottles. Overall, it was an excellent evening with great service.”

“Continuing our tour of coffee shops in the area we decided to check out The Dapper Bean last Sunday morning. Their typical spot is in the same location as Twin City Sweets but we learned after our visit they post their weekly schedule on both Instagram and Facebook weekly which is helpful. We arrived about 11am and there was a small line of customers. The coffee trailer itself is very nice and decorated cute. We knew from a bit of research the couple preparing the coffees are a husband and wife duo which is pretty cool. We were immediately greeted and she was able to tell this was our first time ordering there and walked us through their sugar free latte options which we appreciated. We ultimately both decided to try the sugar free S'mores latte, both in the 20 oz size. Our orders were prepared in a few minutes and since we had asked for them to be prepared extra sweet she wanted to be sure they were sweet enough for us. The lattes were hot and delicious and really hit the spot. We thought their prices were reasonable and we will be back. Great local business that we are happy to support!”

With the quality ingredients they provided, there was no way any of our pizzas weren’t going to be tasty! I also loved that it only took 1-2 minutes to cook the pizzas in their ovens, which meant we all ate our pizzas around the same time. Juan was a wonderful guide and super helpful getting what we needed. Less than $30 per person for the pizza making experience and drinks included. We would definitely come back again!”

“This is such a cute place for meeting up or finding inspiration to get work done. It has lots of outdoor seating as well. It is decorated beautifully and displays a warm and inviting environment. The coffee is superb!! I ordered their dark roast, and it was oh-so fresh!! On my first visit there, I was instantly greeted with a smile and a "hello" by the barista. As I met with a friend to find a seat, I was even more delighted and surprised when the barista came over to deliver my fresh cup of coffee! “Everything was fantastic until I had to pay gave my Credit card the manger ran it back to back to back until it wouldn't do anything then took my bank card ran it took the payment but I received several emails instantly about my CC the manger screwed it up so bad I had to call the company so if you have this problem please take control and tell them give it time to accept the payment not keep running the card I had plenty of credit on that card but also had to let the card company know my bank paid for it because they were still trying to take that money as well otherwise everything was fantasticParking: No problem at allWheelchair accessibility: Yes they have a good one”
