The breakfast sandwiches here are phenomenal; hamburgers, and hotdogs are your basic menu here, but you get a good amount of food for the price… the burger and hotdogs are the best in Pilot Mountain or within a 30min drive honestly. Seating is limited but outdoor seating is available. CASH ONLY!

We decided to stop here after hiking Pilot Mountain for a quick bite. I was not sure what to expect bit I was not let down. The service was great and the food awesome. We got it to go, bit it was still awesome. We even We ba k after hiking the next day. Great place and we'll priced!

Great place to stop for breakfast before walking around Pilot Mountain. Food and service were both excellent. This is a simple place that reminds me of the good old days. Staff and fellow diners were friendly and we felt welcome. Also, they were able to accommodate a special dietary need with no trouble.

This is a must when visiting Pilot Mtn. I deeply regret not trying this place for the six years I've lived here. Come enjoy a simple diner style meal with the locals of the area. The atmosphere and experience of eating here is like no other place in this area of North Carolina. The food is very tasty and fresh off the grill. Please dont let the looks of this place deter you from trying this place out. Its awesome!

We came to visit Pilot mountain and to see the fall leaves, decided to go to the antique stores in the downtown area after. Before we came to visit, I did a little research for restaurants to go to incase we got hungry and this came up. I LOVE a mom and pop owned place, and this is it! I didn't look at pictures when I was doing my research, and we quickly found out why it was named Squeeze box. This restaurant is TINY! It has a counter with maybe 10-15 stools, and just enough room to walk by to get to your seat, or leave. We were welcomely greeted when we walked in, and we took two open stools. You can tell it is a family owned establishment and a local staple. A woman brought us over two menus, she was super kind and friendly. We split a double cheeseburger. It was cooked to perfection, quickly, and they also brought us any toppings we wanted. It was simple and delicious! Is this a fine dining establishment? no. Is this an adorable, tiny delicious place to get a burger? YES! If we are ever back in Pilot Mountain, we will be back to Squeeze Box!
