We recently moved to the Pilot Mountain area and just visited Taste of China for the first time. It was nothing short of excellent! We got the General Tso chicken, vegetable fried rice, two spring rolls and a side of sweet and sour sauce. All was fresh, piping hot and very tasty, and it was enough for dinner for two plus lunch tomorrow. Service was fantastic, too - very friendly! We are tickled to pieces to find such a good Chinese restaurant just five minutes from home, and we will definitely be back. (Side note: the General Tso had a bit more heat to it than we're used to, but it was delicious nonetheless. A spoonful or two of plain rice afterward helped "cool the burn.")

The small local Chinese restaurant. We ate in and they were very nice and friendly. The food was exactly what you would expect from any big city Chinese carry out, really good. The egg rolls were great and the general tso was good too. Didn’t try the soup but will next time.

Very small place ran by a very nice family. Never have any issues here. Food is always hot and prepared exactly as you request. Though keep in mind this is really a Chinese to go restaurant. Though you can eat on site at some of the tables they have that isn’t really what the owners tailor to. I have no problems with that though. It’s a small town and this is a great, quick Taste of China (pun intended) for the family at home.

Every time I get Chinese from this restaurant it's always right which is hard to come by with Chinese places, and the service is always amazing but I'm telling you when I ate one of their egg rolls my taste buds exploded and I started balling my eyes out because of how good they were. I immediately called the restaurant back and ordered 17 more and praised the woman who answered the phone about how amazing the egg rolls were and how I worship her now and how I had a seizure as soon as the egg roll touched my tastbuds. My soul was lifted from my body. I will definitely be eating here at least three times a week and I will tell my entire family about this place.

Nicest Chinese restaurant lady I have ever dealt with. She actually had patience and helped me try to find a meal that suited my diet.She was friendly and polite, too.The food was very good, but not uniquely good. Just good tasting Chinese food. But much better than the Chinese restaurants in my area.
Ordered sesame chicken and was very hard and dried out and sauce on it was old tasting. Egg rolls were bland and was not up to a taste normal egg rolls have. Pork sweet and sour was dry and did not come with enough sauce. Rice was bland and egg rolls was hard on that order. Will never be back.
