I secretly dream of being back at Atlantic Beach, NC...digging in the sand of the Sound for clams, riding bikes through the thickets to the marina.
I learned to swim at this pool when I was only 5 and 6 years old, 1988-89.

Beacon’s reach is the absolute best place. Many times I sat in front of the snackery with my papap back in the day!
