Keone and Zach were both incredibly friendly and took the time to talk with us about our short stay in North Carolina.

Our server, Shaq, was awesome and provided some of the best service we’ve had in the area. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to have us there. Zach even gave us a beer glass as a little souvenir, which was such a cool and unexpected touch!

If you’re in the Pinehurst area, definitely give Hickory Tavern a try. Great people, great hospitality, and an overall 10/10 experience!“

“Had an amazing experience this past weekend, we brought both my parents and five month old daughter for an early seating. The steak special was 10oz and even had a langoustine cheese topping, chunks of lobster yum!!, mom had the barramundi fish special and the white Bordeaux blend were outstanding. Love how there are constantly specials changing but some of our favorites (the duck and hangar steak) remain on the menu. Attentive staff had pairing recommendations and everyone felt the warm, positive vibes coming from the kitchen! We’ve eaten here for years and this past weekend was next level, thank you!“

“Don’t be fooled by the external appearance of the building. It’s a lot larger than expected and the ambiance was comfortable inside as well. I booked through Resy and requested the staff to write a note for my wife, explaining how much I appreciate everything she does. They exceeded expectations and definitely caught my wife off guard as well. The food took a little bit of a wait to arrive at the table but it was amazing and worth the wait. The dim sum was perfectly prepared, the Avocado Chicken, Pad Thai, Salmon, and Glazed Chicken and Pork were full of flavor and fork tender. We will definitely enjoy eating at this restaurant again. “Found this gem on Yelp. Visited with my husband, my son, and his girlfriend. The food was so good and the flavor profiles excellent. My husband and I split a cup of the seafood chowder - fabulous. I had the Mexican shrimp tacos, my husband had the special quiche, my son had a taco that was supposed to come on a flour tortilla, but they gladly substituted corn, and his girlfriend had the salmon wraps. At the end we split a piece of peanut butter pie. The food was all delicious including the sides of homemade regular and sweet potato chips and the broccoli slaw. We will definitely go back. As we left the owner took our pictures with our motorcycles pulled up to the entry. Awesome“
