Neat little off the main path family restaurant in Pinehurst. Locals love it as prices are very reasonable and service is good. Had breakfast and lunch and not disappointed with choices or quality.
Following a trip to the doctor we looked for a local restaurant and read the reviews. Our impression of the Village Cafe is pedestrian at best. We were there at breakfast time and it was quite crowded and my first thought was that lots of people means decent food. We waited over 25 mintues for our food and saw people that had come in after us getting their food with probably the same fare that we ordered, 10 minutes latter ours arrived. It wasn't like we ordered anything...
Very kind and friendly. My girl loved the potatoes- they were good. The coffee wasn’t great but it could’ve been the roast that they used just isn’t my favorite. This is your above average breakfast place.
