Very fake and americanized. Thai tea was alright and the fried fish looks good. The pad thai is extremely sour and the fried rice was exceptionally bland. Definitely doesn’t match the Bangkok Chinatown mural on the wall. Staff doesn’t speak Thai and they don’t know the Thai names of their own dishes. Not the level of authenticity I’ve experienced from other Super-G vendors.
We got the Railay Thai sampler special and the fish was perfect!! It was a whole red fish and the meat was so soft and crispy on the outside. Fish cakes and egg roll was good too. Ask to get papaya salad on the side so you can get the juices included. We had it served all together and it was lacking flavor. When I talked to the owners they said they couldn't include the juices because it would make everything soggy, so get it on the side! It will taste better. Next time I'll...
I love my spicy level 5 tofu curries! I’ve tried the red and Panang so far and they are definitely up with the best I’ve ever had. I love this place so much. It’s my number 1 in alley 51! I’ll add pics next time I visit which will be very soon. We drive all the way from Monroe, nc to visit alley 51 as often as possible cause it is so awesome. I eat at Railay every time! Food is amazing. Portions are big. Prices are great. Staff is kind and helpful.
